Happy Earth Day...belated.

Of course we must all do our part. Whether our focus is on ourselves, posterity or the general human consensus turn off that light as you leave the room, make sure that faucet tap is closed all the way and raise a glass to celebrate the fact mother nature still likes to entertain.

This cocktail is inspired by a place in south east Asia that always makes the top ten's world beaches.

Emerald Bay(sil)

3 oz. Premium Vodka
1 oz. Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur
1/2 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
splash of Agave Nectar
dash of Fee Brothers Lemon Bitters
6-8 Thai Basil leaves (depending in size)

Garnish: One Thai Basil leaf

Preparation: Combine all ingredients into a mixing tin with ice. Shake vigorously for 15 seconds and julep strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with Thai basil leaf.
