It is that time of year for the big music festival on the water, Sunfest. With a fun line up of bands from 311 to James Taylor and the weather being nothing short of perfect, what better cocktail to relax with in the sun. While I'll post the recipe I'm using to go through some slow/dead stock feel free to upgrade as needed to to make your day more perfect. Enjoy!
Perfect Day
2 oz. Bacardi Gold Rum
1 oz. Orange Curacao
1 1/2 oz. Fresh, unfiltered apple juice
1/2 oz. Fresh lime juice
Top with Ginger ale
Garnish: Fresh lime wedge
Preparation: Combine ingredients above into mixing tin with ice. Shake and strain into a large red wine glass and top with ginger ale.
