As the humidity of summer descends...

fight it off with a great wine spritzer that models itself after the innocence of a french rose wine and the naughtiness of a Moulin Rouge burlesque show.


Satine's Spritz

5 oz. Sauvignon Blanc or Unoaked Chardonnay
1 oz. Dry Champagne
4-6 Fresh Raspberries
1 oz. Hibiscus Syrup

Garnish: Single raspberry on a pick

Preparation: Muddle the raspberries in the bottom of a mixing tin. Add the Hibiscus syrup and ice into the tin. Shake and strain into a red wine glass with ice. Add wine and stir. Top with champagne and serve.
